All visitors to the Hometta site will have access to original editorial content, including professionally produced audio slideshow and video podcasts, as well as educational articles and a blog with exclusive content from contributing architects.

A Design Subscription ($9.95/year) will give users access to all home plan design renderings as well as our Construction Guide. The guide will be a first-of-its-kind, interactive tool that helps users navigate the process of building a house from start to finish.

Customers interested in moving forward may purchase a Build Subscription ($99.95/year or $19.95/month), which will allow them to look at all the builder plan sets on our site. Users will also receive guest logins for their selected builder(s) to review the plans and give them accurate bids.

Once the customer finds a builder and receives a bid they are happy with, they may then buy the plans, which range from $1195 for a studio-sized house to $3195 for a 3-bedroom. Our Builder Search feature will help match homebuyers with a qualified builder in their area.

Prospective homeowners are responsible for the entire building process: finding a lot, hiring a builder, hiring an engineer and other third party experts. Most of our participating studios are willing to provide additional services, which must be negotiated between the plan buyer and the studio independently of Hometta.
