A Glimpse Into the World of Min | Day
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:35AM SAN FRANCISCO – On a pleasant and clear September morning E.B. Min welcomed us into the Min | Day studio located in the Dogpatch on the city's East Side.
Surrounded by models, books, and drawings, all evidence of a productive studio, E.B. opens up to us about the practice in our latest podcast. She discusses the advantages of being located in a different city from her design partner Jeff Day and goes on further to describe the studio's process.
She cites surface texture, landscape, and 'fun' as important factors in many of their solutions to challenging design problems. These elements can be seen at play in the design for Wide Open House and Wedge House, which are available through Hometta.
